The location is charming and set in a beautiful area with lovely grounds. I enjoyed the unique historical details throughout the place, which really gave it character. The coffee provided was excellent, and the innkeeper was kind and accommodating.

The Black Mountain Inn has its charm, being a historical property with beautiful natural light and friendly staff. However, the room could use better upkeep, as cleanliness was a concern, and breakfast wasn’t what was promised. Overall, it was a mixed experience but had potential.

Expecting a rustic escape

June, the innkeeper, was quite the charmer. She upped our stay when we faced an issue with our room. We even got a cozy space with vintage decor, that was real nice.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but it was still acceptable.

The charming decor with cozy, rich wooden accents is delightful. The lovely gardens made for a serene atmosphere, although the uneven stairs may challenge some seniors.

More accessible facilities would be appreciated.

Additionally, there was a frustrating lack of clarity regarding breakfast offerings, which led to disappointment.

Had an amazing getaway with friends! The historical vibe and beautiful grounds were perfect for unwinding. We explored Goldfinch and enjoyed a concert nearby. Just a heads up for future guests, the place does have some quirks but it adds to the charm....
